The Suprademex MC is a medium cutting demolition charge capable of cutting up to 200 mm thick mild steel S275. It is designed for combat engineering tasks on heavy structural elements and can be used both in air and underwater.
Description
The Suprademex MC is the medium-power member of the Suprademex demolition cutting family. It is intended for demanding breaching and dismantling work where serious section thickness must be defeated, including heavy steel profiles and reinforced structural elements. The charge is engineered for high energy output and reliable, repeatable cutting performance.
As with the rest of the Suprademex range, the stand-off is built into the charge architecture. The integrated, optimised stand-off gives two operational advantages. First, it allows fast placement on the target with minimal preparation. Second, it ensures a consistent distance to the surface, which supports predictable and repeatable cutting results from shot to shot. This makes the Suprademex MC a practical choice for combat engineers who need assured effect on critical infrastructure.
The Suprademex MC is modular. Multiple cutting modules can be linked together to increase total cutting length, allowing operators to scale the effect to longer linear targets such as large beams, stiffeners or frames. The system can be fixed in place using standard underwater fixing methods such as Suprafix for subsea work, reducing time on target and simplifying manipulation in adverse conditions. The Suprademex MC can be deployed in air or underwater, extending its use from land demolition to subsea structural intervention.
