The Suprademex LC is the heavy-duty member of the Suprademex family, engineered for precision cutting of very thick steel and reinforced concrete elements. The charge features an integrated, optimised standoff in its structure for rapid emplacement and reproducible cutting performance. The Suprademex LC is not suitable for underwater use.
Description
The Suprademex LC delivers high energy output for the most demanding demolition and obstacle-clearance tasks. It is designed to defeat thick structural sections such as heavy beams, thick plates and reinforced concrete elements where a robust, predictable cutting effect is required. As with the rest of the Suprademex range, the stand-off is integrated into the charge architecture. This integrated standoff ensures fast, repeatable placement and consistent performance between firings, reducing time on target and simplifying emplacement procedures.
The Suprademex LC is built with a modular mindset. Cutting modules can be combined to extend the effective cutting length along long structural members, enabling operators to scale the effect to mission requirements. The charge is engineered and manufactured to provide predictable results, with emphasis on repeatability, safety and ease of handling for combat engineers. Due to its design and materials, the Suprademex LC must not be deployed in subsea conditions; it is optimised for surface operations only.
